Yeah. I'll probably organize a sampling of some of the music for each level as well (even if it's not the final music for that level) if I ever get that job...

I know old games are good, but in the DEMO? NO, because we only are having 7 galaxies total and the retro one is SMB1-1&1-2. That still leaves 6 galaxies open for normal SMG2.5 levels.

we should have special levels with FLUDD and also to include a game difficulty as u progress through the game levels increase to the point where even skilled players will struggle

We can't use FLUDD yet, since we still need to fully-reverse engineer the game's code!
And a difficulty option won't work in a DEMO.
We only have 5 levels in the DEMO.

Demon Summoner is totally right, all these things might happen in due course however for a demo version there is no point in thinking too big as we're merely trying to raise awareness/interest for the project. It is one of my hopes that in the final project we will see difficulty levels being selectable, multiplayer, heck - maybe even an online mode! But all this is still a way off. The point is that the levels set to feature within the demo should be made as utterly beautiful as the game allows

blank, is right. You're severely overestimating how long it takes to make even a small ASM hack. Chadderz took 3 years, and he was skilled at it. We don't have any experience, so even if 4 of us work together, it will still take 3 years or more, if it doesn't fail first.
