I was thinking about how Newer edited their logo for the Newer Holiday Edition. They edited it to add snow and other stuff to make it match the theme of a holiday edition of their game. I think we should do the same thing for this demo version. On a side note, I feel motivated to look back at the logo file in the ISO, and see if I can't figure out how to edit animations and other stuff. If I figured that out, we could make it look really cool.

Yes, DEFINETELY. Just have to think how you want it animated. Then I can animate it in that way. So jus figure the animation you want me to make.

Animating the logo sounds like a good idea too, but I can't help but think it'd look bad if the animations were overdone.... the things that spring to mind for me at least are maybe a power star floating in the background of the logo and some star bits jumping about nearer the bottom. Is that the kinda thing you guys were thinking too? :/

I think anything over the top will look tacky, you're right. Originally I thought maybe lubba and mario could spring up from behind the logo, but that's a bit too much. How about just some simple sparkle effects or something?

Although another idea I had was having "Super Mario Galaxy 2" pop up first and then half a second later the ".5 demo" could appear? If not the a few sparkles will probably be ideal |

I tried to avoid that because that means we need to take apart the already created logo. I'd rather just stick to sparkles, or starbits popping out or something.
