Nintendo and their workaround programming so I makes it nice and easy to add new stuff. So tricky

Okay, good progress guys (and thanks for the update blank). Alert me when your new model importer is out by PMing me. I don't want the entrances "blocked". I want them covered. The textures didn't work for two of them, and it's strange having an ENTIRELY different type of pipe anyway. I think covering them up with bowser statues goes along with covering the sewers with Bowser panels, basically Bowser has locked up delfino. In the FINAL hack, we can eventually make these barriers disappear (Or, you could unlock bullet bills in delfino plaza, letting you destroy the statues), but we'd need to completely remove the SMS pipes, which we can do later. In fact, what would look GREAT for the final version would be covering sirena beach pipe with one of yoshi's giant orange fruits, just like the giant pineapple in SMS Anyway, for now, Blank, keep working on your importer, and NWP, keep importing models/collision. I can't edit from where I am, but when I get home I'll finish up most of the item placement.

The Pianta's in SMG2 have no animations for walking around, so the only possible way would be to import the Animations from SMS, but that is currently unkown.
Glem:
I have a few ideas, let me know if you like them:
*Since you did say we could have a few Retro Levels, could the pipes/Mountain Cave possibly later on lead to them?
*Could a Yoshi Dash fruit be in place of the Dash Nozzle, a Blimp in Place of the Rock Nozzle, and as a FLUDD Cameo, could some of those FLUDD looking things that squirt bubbles help you reach high places, and have their Blue Changed to Yellow by Swapping the auctual FLUDD's Texture?
*Could the Piantas Possibly say things like how they wonder why Mario has come back, and why he is wearing long Sleeves in such a hot weather?
*Could the level from SMS (Not counting as a Retro Level) where Mario Uses Dash Fludd to jump from Platform to Platform still exist but this this time you use dash yoshi?
*And lastly, if it were at all possible (For a future Demo), could a star be gotten here by Beating Cosmic Mario in a race as a way to symbol when shadow mario appears, and Paintissimo Race? It could be interesting.

We can't make walking piantas, especially not yet. Anyway, on your ideas: - Possibly, we'll have to see... - I already put a Dash Pepper in place of the dash nozzle and a Blimp Berry in place of the rocket nozzle. And sure, I guess we could. - Yes, that sounds funny - I think we should make a redux of it, rather than a remake-- and entirely new version. - A cosmic mario race sounds like a cool idea when possible.

It truly may not be possible, but that's the only way I can think of to get them walking.
I hope by "We'll see..." you really mean that we will. I think that Retro Levels should exist in Delfino Plaza, since it is a Retro Hub World. I set a poll for non-SMG2.5 Members, and they liked these 10 levels the most (If only they all could appear :/, they said that the Hazy Maze Cave could be accessed Via the Mountain Cave):
1: Bianco Hills 2: Bob-Omb Battlefield 3: Ricco Harbor 4: Geleato Beach 5: Good Egg Galaxy 6: Hazy Maze Cave 7: New SMB Wii World 1 themed Level 8: Noki Bay 9: Toy Time Galaxy 10: Pianna Park & Sierena Beach Tied
For the Talking Piantas, a suggestion I got from a MKWii Member (It's *kind of* funny... But it's cheesy IMO):
"The Piantas that would ask for fruit, would say to Mario:
"Hey Sweetums! I'm craving fruit... I'm craving Dash Fruit, three of them. Bring them back here and I'll give you a prize, OK? What?! What do you mean that you've 'Lost Your Ability To Pick Up Objects'?!"
Not that funny but yeah... :/
Hmmm, for the Dash Level, could we completely re-use that entire level, but it is suspended in space, and more additions are added like on Hightail Falls?

'craving' sounds kinda wrong...

I just tried out the model and noticed that the awnings/umbrellas have some weird collision isues. In that you apparently can't land on them. I tried taking a look at the collision model (I don't know which of the dolpic's this import is taken from, so I used dolpic0) and what I saw was this. Some of the triangles face up and others face down. My guess is that they are collidable from both sides in SMS. Attachments:

I know people keep saying they want Good Egg Galaxy as a retro @sm64ds but this can NOT happen!!! At least if I get any say in the matter. Beta Blast Galaxy uses the SMG1 beta version of the main planet with a Toad saying "this place looks kinda familiar" and if the whole galaxy was in there then we'd basically have two of the same level and it would be glaringly obvious rather than what we're hoping for (just subtly hinting at it)

You don't get it worldsboss. We HAVE to have it because otherwise you are getting rid of one of the SMG2.5 levels-Bad Egg Galaxy. Your choice. They come as a pair. You get both or none. And since we aren't scrapping Bad Egg Galaxy, you have to deal with it

Or is it just so that the names are together?

Mostly names, but I think kind of design wise too.

Blank, I don't understand... what does that mean? I realized that I couldn't land on them, but does this mean we can't fix their collision to work as a trampoline or what?

Bad Egg Galaxy was a design by me, and is supposed to be a Dark Version of Good Egg Galaxy, using simular missions, simular Planets, and some new Planets, all sorted differently. We can have all three... Beta Blast + Bad Egg don't count as Retro... and Good Egg does. Beta Blast may use Beta Planets, but is not a Retro level. Glem and others here may not like Retro levels... But other people do. Delfino Plaza can be the Retro Hub, but in this Demo just a Place. --- blank & Glem, the solution is very simple. In MKWII, we would run into the type of problem all of the time. So, what we would do is copy the face, make a new group/component, and paste it in place. Then the face sticking up in the Component would be made Bouncy, and the faces stick down outside of the component would be made a wall so you would hit it without going through or without any other issues.

Yeah, it's not really a big problem. It just means that the awnings and umbrellas needs some touching up along the lines of what SM64DS suggested.

We already agreed we'd include a "retro level pack". Any work on that will be done AFTER we release the final project.
